After working as a freelancer for 9+ years, I decided to upgrade and open up my own design studio. Once I gained more confidence in the working process, I created this easy and simple workflow that helps me and my clients with an easy design service.
Step 1: The Virtual meeting: I usually, fix up a virtual meeting with the client and discuss the design requirements and details about their business.
Step 2: I review the details shared by the client and then decide if the prospect is a good fit. Then I calculate the time required to do this project and share the estimated timeline. If needed I ask additional questions to formulate a quote.
Step 3: Once we both agree on the quote and the timeline, we sign a contract and I collect the down payment.
Step 4: Client briefing is done and I review the detailed questionnaire and begin creating the mood board.
Step 5: I start with the design process. I create the initial designs and share them with the client for review.
Step 6: Once the required changes are done, I create the final design and save the files in the required format.
Step 7: When I receive the final payment, I send all the required files to the client.
Step 8: I follow up and if needed, I provide additional support and ask for their testimonials.
